School climate clubs launch

Six secondary schools in Naivasha have started climate clubs, each running a tree nursery in the school compound.

The clubs meet fortnightly and are led by the students themselves, with a teacher patron and a termly visit from our field team.

    Over two days in August, ninety volunteers from four community groups planted 1,200 indigenous seedlings along a degraded stretch of the lake shore.
